What is an EGR?

The Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) system is responsible for reducing nitrogen oxide emissions by recirculating a portion of the exhaust gas back into the engine’s combustion process. Over time, EGR systems can become clogged with carbon deposits, leading to reduced performance and increased emissions.

What is a DPF?

The Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) is another critical component of your truck’s emissions system. It works by trapping soot and other particulate matter from the exhaust stream, reducing harmful emissions. However, DPFs can become clogged over time, leading to reduced performance and increased emissions.
